Description
This is the reference I made for my friend drakrrth. Years ago I had promised him a reference, tried, but failed to draw something he liked. So I tried again this year, dropping all my other art projects (for a change there really were some) and drew this.
Feel free to zoom in, you will be able to see most every single scale. As my friend put it: I drew more detail than any one person is likely to notice (though some might).
To clarify: No, he isn't missing one wing. This is my way of portraying a dragon in a reference without having one of the wings hide body features. So I made it look cut-off. Interesting about this is that you can see the bone, which won't be the same for every dragon.
The pupil is red; the Iris is grey-black; the eye-white is gray-white; the body is black with hints of gold and copper; the markings are gold and the membranes are many shades of grey.
Another picture is in work featuring Drak'rrth, as part of his commission. I shall draw and finish it soon, hopefully.

Truth be told I never actually commissioned you, in the sense of paying you money or such. Which makes this picture all the more valuable to me. I can never thank you enough for this.
